  1. Another dusting of tracking snow, 34F, balmy Happy Thanksgiving NNE .
  2. Back from NH to find a beautiful Green Mt range. 8F this morning, but no wind .
  3. 3” so far. Always nice to remember how quiet the woods are in the snow Doe bed. She wasn’t to pleased to give up her spot this morning .

  10. Spring schedules. trading the early morning powder harvests for the afternoon corn harvest. It always looks good when the chores get done before leaving for the mountain
  11. Seasons progress, now it’s mix and match season, time to utilize all the gear in the garage. Besides, May is still a long way off 5/12/20
  12. Pretty impressive melt on the hill for 3 days of warmth. Always funny to me the paradox of the ski trail. months go by the trail is down, in the snow. Spring warmth arrives, and the trail ascends, a nice reminder of the many days sliding and compacting. ETA: snow has begun again:)
  13. Braving the hard pack conditions today. Skating yesterday realized we haven’t had to flood the rink since January. That’s first. It is always fun to see how the winter will unfold. We haven’t had one storm over 9”, and yet, the access to quality winter fun has not been deterred. 6 weeks to go
  14. 4.5” of white beach sand here, surprised it was 20F based on the pelting, misty ski with the dog this morning. Quiet skies for the time being.
  15. -14 on the hill this morning, skate skiing on styrofoam, but no crowd:)
