Whatever he's posting is pretty misleading considering Massachusetts imports far more energy from the regional grid than it produces (and the regional grid is basically entirely natural gas and nuclear). You can read more here: https://www.eia.gov/states/MA/overview From my understanding, this seems largely like a sleight of hand: shut down nuclear & fossil fuel plants, replace a fraction of that capacity with renewable - but you can call yourself green because it's a larger share --- and then import the lion's share of your electric from a non-green heavy grid. You can see MA's all source generation here (decreasing from 10 / 20 years ago): EIA.gov website. I know MA has installed a ton of residential and small scale solar, which is fine to celebrate but I see the data being used very loosely. In fairness, I think that chart is not including the 4,000 MWh of non utility solar, so a little overstating the reduction.

While this one was impossible to measure, I'm coming up with best guess of 4-6" (Brentwood). People in an around the town are posting stuff like 8-12" which is just laughably measuring drifts. Anyways, while it always sucks to not cash in during such a big storm, still enjoying the pictures. Congrats to all those waking up to some epic snow piles this morning.

Couple that light radar for SE NH with this season to-date map and I might lose my mind lol. That said, snow and cold is such an improvement over prior years that I'm not really complaining. Enjoy all!

I moved from coastal CT to one of those grey areas on the map in southern NH back around 2017. I remember the first year or two being good snow wise (relative to my expectations) but ever since a disappointment more often than not. Could even eek out more than a trace of snow yesterday as Boston got 6" lol. So much for white Christmas for the kids.
