on 6z as shown we need a 100mile west adjustment and bit more neutral tilt before we run out of time. ICON leaned toward a better look than 0z showed. nothing else to track so why not watch it.

Seems that way. With the demise of clippers which were good for some 1-2 type deals you have to wonder if it’s bad luck or the future of MA winter

there just isn't much cold behind it on this run. the deep trough is shallowing over time..if that is even a word

It seems like no matter what scenario is spit out by the models the trough stays out west. It moves around a bit but never moves east. Hard to be enthused about any look …new or otherwise. I mean there isn’t even a WAR in that map.

Good patterns seem to take way longer than we think to develop and way end quicker than we hope. But hey it’s Christmas.
