    Agree. Might leave them up. 3 inches looks like 10 inches if you squint. Either measurement gets the job done…10 inches is better of course

    Not sure why. He is a board legend and calls it like he sees it. It’s all the same data we all look just how it’s interpreted. Everything he said was spot on for that model run at 6z. Then it changed. It can change back in two swigs of an IPA at happy hour.

    It’s bad when our temps match Orlando in January. But with every model run come fresh new hope.

    I was angry all day Christmas once the sun broke through. Fog makes me happy…sunny days make me sad. I watch for CAD even if it doesn’t mean frozen on the models just for the maritime flow. I live in the wrong place.

    If you toggle back 4 runs on the op GFS at around 288 hrs it basically looks the same…some differences but massive trough in the west with snow down to Baja CA and huge ridge in the east. I know we are supposed to follow the GEFS but man it’s hard not to worry about that

    Wonder what the temps for today looked like 216 hours ago on both models. Because it’s freaking warm out.
