  2. To your point it puts it at 879mb at its lowest point .
  3. This is mesmerizing to watch in hi-def visible imagery .
  4. Looks like perhaps a CDO is developing overtop the low level center. See how this evolves and persists overnight but this may be the beginning stages of this thing for real .
  5. Looks like a hot tower is trying to fire near the low level center area. See how this all evolves over the next 12 hours or so https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/meso_band.php?sat=G16&sat=G16&lat=17N&lon=81W&band=13&length=30 .

  8. Pretty obvious on visible imagery an eye is trying to clear out
  9. Only picked up 1.07” here in Lebanon since midnight. We definitely dodged the worst here compared to points to our north and west
  10. Sitting at a sultry 91/77 here in Lebanon after that cluster missed to our south. The main show is looking very feisty in central PA and will be curious how it evolves over the next few hours
  11. SPC has increased to an Enhanced Risk for today for much of the central zone of PA for damaging winds
  12. As noted, an inner core is becoming more evident on recent radar loop. The question will be lingering dry air but if it can close up and develop deep convection it should steadily strengthen
  13. Getting crushed in Lebanon. I have picked up 1.25” in the last 40 minutes and still dumping
  14. Low level center definitely consolidating south of Cuba…future model runs should be interesting
  15. In between action in Lebanon…the “eye” of the cells lol. Up to .50” now today. Very tropical for sure
  16. Picked up a quick .40” of rain here in Lebanon and round 3 is starting now
  17. 18z HWRF sends a solid Cat 1 into the big bend of Florida
  18. Sitting at 96° here on Lebanon. Can we hit 100+ today? As long as clouds stay away seems likely
  19. 97° here in Lebanon with no rain today. Missed the storms just to our east. Rainfall this month is .32”
  20. Appears Beryl is attempting to re-create a new CDO and pull the low level center in. If this all re-aligns, could be off to the races later
  21. Rainfall total between 2 rounds of storms yesterday was 1.07” here in Lebanon. Badly needed. Still close to an inch below normal for the month of June. See if we can pick up more rain today to end the month
  22. Just hit 99° in Lebanon. Hottest temp since July 2020 here…lets see if we can hit 100
