  1. I was a snowboarder for awhile and definitely prefer skiing. Have been doing it last few years and getting so much better. I hit 35 mph today and got 3 feet of air off a jump, baby steps lol
  2. Springville is definitely around 200" per, every time I drive thru there down to Holiday Valley it's always snowing.
  3. Hey @TugHillMatt just drove through Springville where it snows 24/7. Everytime I drive through there it is snowing. 2 feet on the ground and moderate snow. Besides redfield I think Springville is one of snowiest cities in the east.
  4. I take it all back, I want more winter. Perfect night on the slopes.
  5. End of UKMET is a big dog, someone is getting a massive storm out of this. This track reminds me of March 2008
  6. Yep, lakes always add a bit to them, even a frozen one can.

  8. Certainly much rarer to get big events on NW/WNW flow. The big time events off erie and ontario are always W/SW
  9. I think the closer we get the more suppressed we get in comparison to the NW trend as we got closer all year. IE-this weekends system is getting sent lower and lower each run.
  10. Yeah, retrograding lows are your bread and butter. Or a clipper pattern with meandering wind directions.
  11. Wolfie cashing in this week. Pulaski is a good spot. Make sure @TugHillMatt doesn't move there wolf.
  12. Freezes up quick with light winds and single digits temps for last 10 days.
  13. Yes sir. Once lake effect season is over I cheer for spring time. Get ready for the emotes the next few weeks! Pool season around the corner
  14. Too cold is the missing ingredient, everything is suppressed.
  15. Going skiing tonight, so still enjoying winter to the full, but come mid/late March lets get some sun and warmth and open the pool in April.

  17. Hate to be that guy but walking outside every morning in the freezing cold and my car barely starting is getting old. I'm definitely going to be ready for spring come mid march. Yes @rochesterdave I know wrong forum.
  18. Ninas usually have cold Februarys right? Long range forecasting is a total crapshoot
  19. We will get above that with the PV visiting. Look at the temps forecasted the next 10 days.
