  1. That's the snow depth map. I wouldn't use that map at all its been terrible this winter.
  2. Half annual is definitely worth of D. But you did get some pretty decent LES events. Nothing exceptional though, I'd rare your winter a D as well. You're like me, you want heavy snow rates.
  3. Last year sucked for LES, I don't think I had a good band the entire season. This year I had 4 great bands. It bumps it up quite a bit over last year.
  4. F 2011-2012 A+ 2014-2015 You have to break 100" with a few good LES events to get into the Bs. As are reserved for 150"+ and big time LES events. That's my grading system. This year will be a B-/C depending on next few weeks.
  5. Outside chance to hit 50 today, almost full sun outside here.
  6. Looks like a roller coaster patter on EPS and GEFS leaning towards slightly above normal temps. Tomorrow and Friday look sunny and mid 30s and then Sunday is 47 and sunny. Really looking forward to that.
  7. GFS still has that arctic front moving in early next week
  8. The first 3 weeks of March are definitely winter here. After the 3rd week it becomes much more rare. https://www.weather.gov/buf/BuffaloSnow
  9. I think you'll be fine up there. The snow depth is above average for this time of year. They are an entirely different climate then down here. There was over 2 feet of snow on May 31st up above 4k feet when I went last year.
  10. 100% hes my storm chasing partner. He comes with me every time.
  11. I finally made it, I'm on the weather channel! https://weather.com/storms/winter/video/how-a-small-ice-free-path-in-lake-erie-buried-parts-of-ny-in-snow
  12. I finally made it boys https://weather.com/storms/winter/video/how-a-small-ice-free-path-in-lake-erie-buried-parts-of-ny-in-snow
  13. Whenever I get that first taste of sun and 40 degrees I start to crave the spring.
  14. 2017-2018 had a great December here. I think we had 3-4 big LES events in a 2-3 week time period.
  15. There was a really good one @DeltaT13 went to a few years ago. I think it was 20" in Orchard Park and it happened in middle of game. I think it was against the Eagles? It's a really rare occurrence to get everything timed right. We only have 8 Bills home games and only 2-3 in Nov/Dec. However, with the Bills being good now, we can add 1-2 games a year of playoff football into the mix! I had to work that day and am so mad that I missed it. I'll be going to almost all the games this coming year, cant wait! Here it is https://www.weather.gov/buf/lesEventArchive?season=2017-2018&event=C
  16. Hoping for a quick transition to some warmth. The last few years March-early May has been quite cold comparable to average. We had accumulating snow May 10-12th last year. We haven't had a real spring in quite sometime.
  17. Lots of good news the last day! https://www.jnj.com/johnson-johnson-announces-single-shot-janssen-covid-19-vaccine-candidate-met-primary-endpoints-in-interim-analysis-of-its-phase-3-ensemble-trial https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2021/02/17/covid-news-joe-biden-variant-vaccine-teachers/6771794002/
  18. I was there 2 months ago. Beautiful place. Went to hike the Santorini range in the Adirondacks.
