    Is it bad when you are excited to see what the GFS is showing at hour 240 on the 12z run. What a stupid hobby

    The 6GFS is picking up on a strong High near the Canadian border.....it appears that the CMC and Euro may have it too.....this will ultimately drive the PD storm.....if that high is as strong as advertised this should be a nice event for most of Virginia

    there are going to be some nice looks at the end of the cmc and gfs runs weekend of the 17th 18th becoming more interesting......

    certainly some improvements on the GFS.....certainly looking forward to the inevitable 37 degree rain

    Im less concerned about precip but more about temps......was interested to hear what others thought

    If the Feb 5 event does end up coming North to much of the mid atlantic are temps not going to be an issue??....seems as we are either going to get moisture with warmer air or dry and cold.....typical I guess? Does this have a shot at being a Mid Atlantic snow event for VA, MD

    a really nice pattern beginning next weekend emerging on the 6z GFS......unfortunately it will be gone at 12z.........nice to see storm after storm after storm threat with some cold around...
