    The nam and gfs are def a tick cooler for coastal areas,if your in the northern parts of the city,westchester co and northern nj..your looking better per run.

    That cold front means business. I wouldnt be shocked to see rain to snow even here in the city,not to mention the winds associated with the frontal passage itself. Could be a wild couple of hours later on tonight. The last gasp of old man winter!!

    One thing is for certain,sun starts setting soon. Its 33 here..precip looks like its pinwheeling in to nyc for the next couple of hours. Its in no hurry to move either.

    Its a big flake type of snow. Althought here it is accumulating on tree branches and power lines since its coming down pretty hard currently. Nice to see daytime snow in mid march atleast.

    Temp is 36f but my dp has dropped 3 degrees to 33 in a couple of hours and falling. That ct low is really trying to pull the cold air down. Eastern l.i and coastal new england still rain. Snow in nyc.

    This snowmap is already off. It has almost nothing for northern nj and we know thats currently not the case. Lol

    Lets see how much dries up,as of rn its still pumping moisture off the atlantic..also some models had the low push west a bit stall then move east again. Imo it snows thru tonight.

    Well the way this baby is moving or lack thereof,id say once the sun starts setting..temps are gonna drop..lets see how the ccb performs.

    It should start snowing as in more then flurries soon,radar is filling in.

    Its kind of easy to see how this might just stall or move westerly just a bit,since its already happening..its gonna keep us in some gd stuff for a while. As of rn im getting a gd band over my area in the northern bx. Moderate snow 35/33..kind of windy as well..

    This is one big storm,when it snows in philly up to maine. Rapidly expanding precip shield should keep is wintry in the metro..esp if heavy bands set up.

    My dp and temp dropped 2 degrees to 40/39. Winds are now northerly also..i do expect a positive bust here,reguardless of what the models say, the colder air is coming..

    I think we get paste bombed for this storm..intense rates usually brings the cold air down,hence the wet snow even at 33-34 degrees..also every model differs when it comes to the ivt,some have no ivt at all which is what us coasties want. Reguardless it's gonna snow here in N.Y.C.!!

    Well there goes the all rain forecast for my area today..it wont accumulate to much but it is snowing atleast. Also it got dark and cold fast!!..that coastal must be bombing out nearby,my guess is right off the jersey shore

    Personally i dont think any of us reach a high in the mid 40's,i might be wrong but the cloud cover is def gonna keep it from reaching the maximum diurnal warming. Also its pretty cold at 32/25. Any precip that arrives will wet bulb the temps to around 32-36 depending on location. So it might snow even then.
