  1. Heavy thunder snow in Rochester, NH. Pretty wild .
  2. 10-ish miles north of the Pope is -SN at 32.6°, grass coated, roads starting to slush a little. Going to sleep in prep for a wee hours call out for plowing. .
  3. From a Beal, and native son of Jonesport; be safe in whatever comes your way. .
  4. No breaks for beginners? Some helpful bunch you guys are[emoji849][emoji23] .
  5. Hardly…been hanging around for several years off and on, but never have anything useful to add, so I don’t post. I shouldn’t let that stop me, I guess, by the looks of it. .
  6. Jesus H Christ. You know what I love? Wading through dozens of bickering fool posts about who wants the end of the world and who doesn’t, just to get the one out of 10 that actually discuss weather and the science behind it. I’m not even knowledgeable enough to be called a neophyte here, but I love the weather…all the weather. It also affects my job, so I come down to these first 3 layers of hell to gain further insight about it…but damn, it’s getting painful to glean the useful bits out. Kick me out if you want, call me all of the name, I don’t really care, but you guys are nearly intolerable. .
  7. Looks nothing like that in Bow at the moment, just 15 miles south. I just drove to work from Rochester, where it was just starting to cover cars, through Northwood, where it looked like you in Northfield. Elevation was/is the deciding factor. I'd crest a hill with 3" on the road, only to get to the bottom and the roads are wet. Moderate to heavy snow in Bow(300 yards from the merrimack river) now, starting to pile up irrespective of the valley locale
  8. I’ll chime in on this for my inaugural post. 34* in Rochester, NH, falling steadily since sunset. Headed to sleep soon, as I’m on call and will likely be out at some point before the sun comes up. Hoping to wake to a full raging snowstorm at some point. .
