I certainly agree, not asking for a blizzard, just seasonal temps and to not be drinking bourbon on the porch in shorts Christmas afternoon. 2015 and 2021 live rent free in my head. Maybe it’s just me but I love snow and cold. Probably just the years of melting in the heat doing farm and blue collar work. Haha I take all the brisk air I can get. Really pulling for today’s 12z runs of the euro and GFS.

I’m just really hoping we don’t torch for Xmas. It’s my fav time of the year and not having a fire going and enjoying all the cozy shit fuckin blows. The models can’t grasp cold and snow when it’s a week away but by god they will sniff out a Xmas week torch like stoned me finding snacks.

I personally don’t see it. Especially a day 16 run. I think more seasonal temps but not a full blown torch. Who knows it may end up being cold. I wasn’t supposed to putting in hay in my thickest coat and muck boots today.

Maybe it’s just my very novice eyes, but I don’t see much of a torch come Xmas week. Looks like the temps moderate to more seasonal level but not a torch. Hell it still may be cold, according to the models I wasn’t supposed to be putting hay in today wearing muck boots and my thickest coat. Haha

Buddy my mama is in Craig county where I grew up. So I’ve never seen a decent buck, they don’t exist cause they don’t live long enough or go nocturnal in my moms neck of the woods. I jumped the biggest nicest buck I ever seen while slip hunting my new property. For the first time in my life I have buck fever haha I haven’t pulled the trigger on shit this year. Me and my wife are in a rental while our house is being restored and I don’t have a decent freezer so it’s for the best I reckon.

37 and 31 here good buddy. I still have snow in my woods and on the north faces like you. I think we topped out at 44 today. Hope we can get some good crystallization rates tomorrow once the temp starts going down.

Eagle Rock, VA here, about 30 mi NW of Roanoke. We shall see what happens, animals were deff moving this evening when I was hunting. I’m off work tomorrow and hoping we do well.

As a member of The Appalachian American Delegation, I’m really enjoying these trends lolol. Like ol Jebman says, I hope for Barney cold and snow for all. I want us ALL to have more white powder on the ground than Rick James’ mansion in 1987.
