  1. If this were happening to a significant amount of relatively healthy people, I'd be more concerned.
  2. I do. Very nice on those cooler summer nights. Used a grill cover on it for the winter...put the grill in the garage.
  3. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4378297/ I think there's another I posted a couple pages ago...didn't read through them all, but there is some interesting data. We know that inflammation is a significant contributor to may health issues.
  4. Breastfeeding is such a good thing for infants - this being one of those! We've experienced the same with multiple kid and the Croup & RSV. Babies had minimal symptoms and quick recoveries.
  5. Yup, BIG difference between CBD and THC. Not molecular, but the way it binds to our CB1 receptors causing the psychoactive effects. I'm all for medical use of CBD oil, but there's no medical need for THC.
  6. Promise to keep posting model runs here in the winter.
  7. "There have been no new cases of the novel coronavirus among the hundreds who flouted social distancing guidelines and attended pool parties at Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks over Memorial Day weekend, a state health official said this week." Could be something to the whole outside, pool, beach thing...
  8. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3265077/ Go figure...
  9. If this mutation is real, I think we all can hope it's happening everywhere...
  10. Great news: https://www.foxnews.com/science/moderna-positive-phase-i-data-potential-coronavirus-vaccine The Phase I trial of mRNA-1273 saw all patients receive a 25 microgram, 100 microgram or 250 microgram dose. Fifteen patients were in each group and those who participated in the study received two doses of the potential vaccine via an injection in the upper arm, 28 days apart. At day 43, the group that received 25 micrograms, saw the same level of antibodies as people who had recovered from the disease. At day 43, the 100 microgram dose group saw levels of antibodies that "significantly exceeded the levels" seen in those who had recovered from the disease, the company added.
  11. Operation Warp Speed. Let's do this... Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said earlier this month that it was "doable if things fall in the right place" to have a vaccine by January.
  12. The fact that you think the Democratic party wouldn't do the exact same thing is a pretty good indication that you are making a bad faith, non-objective argument.
  13. Yet with the party swapping that regularly occurs in the exec branch via the democratic vote, it tends to balance out the judiciary. I would argue that the majority of the judiciary branch as a whole, has been appointed by Democrats. This admin is balancing that out. The SCOTUS is the same, for the most part, but has shifted right due to timing of new appointments.
  14. That's the beauty of how our Republic is setup...the executive branch can be as secretive as it wants, yet it's still accountable to the other 2. This POTUS was impeached, there are lawsuits against him, and he has zero authority over the SCOTUS. We the people need to let the process work...is it perfect? No. Does it weed out all corruption? No. Is it the best form of government in this world? I would argue, yes.
  15. I don't support corruption of any kind, political, professional, personal, etc. Let the law of the land expose corruption and apply judgement as the founding fathers intended. You or I don't have the absolute truth, knowledge, or authority. All else is biased opinion.
  16. So this EO is to allow the aforementioned areas to move into Phase 1, I believe.
  17. Listen, I defend every POTUS as a US citizen, period. What I DON'T defend are the policies I don't agree with (for any POTUS) nor do I defend Pres Trump's childish antics and narcissistic ways. With that said, he's ROCKED our political system to the core (which is a good thing), bringing a lot of junk to the surface (another good thing), yet has also brought out a lot of petty stuff in the process (which I don't blame him solely as people make their own choices, but he does hold some responsibility). Is he the perfect leader? No. Is he a perfect person? Not in the slightest. Has he done good things for the US in his 4 years? Many, in my opinion (we can debate this all day long if you'd like). Can we now redirect this thread to COVID focused and not Pres Trump focused?
  18. Moderna's phase 3 COVID RNA vaccine is planned to start summertime. If successful, with our accelerated schedule, may see a vaccine by Q1 2021. Maybe earlier, who knows. There's another vaccine being developed in China which is more like the typical inactivated virus ones we see with the Flu. Not sure I would trust any vaccine coming out of China though.
  19. Just for the record, I still love Delta. Our affinity for weather culture will always prevail!
  20. I can't stand some of the things he says and I wish he would stop using Twitter, like 4 years ago! With that, I support and respect all US Presidents, regardless of party, as I think ALL Americans should do. I DON'T agree with all US President's policies, however, and that's how I vote - policies over people.
  21. shill INFORMAL•NORTH AMERICAN noun an accomplice of a hawker, gambler, or swindler who acts as an enthusiastic customer to entice or encourage others. Doesn't sound very nice to me...just sayin'. "Loyal shill" is what you said to be precise.
  22. I'm NOT a fan of Socialism, but there is a distinct difference between a temporary stimulus package and a lasting policy of universal income.
  23. Doesn't make you or him right. I'M not hurling insults - YOU and I are having the conversation, not Pres Trump.
  24. "The Republicans own this mess and always will. " Really? Initial grant was approved under the Obama administration in 2014 for $3.7M funding research of bat coronavirus and some of that went to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. What's True A portion of $3.7 million in grants awarded between 2014 and 2019 by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to EcoHealth Alliance, a global environmental health nonprofit organization, helped fund research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. What's False However, not all of that $3.7 million went to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and not all of the funding took place under the Obama administration. Approximately $700,000 of the $3.7 million total was approved under Donald Trump. So instead of trying to place blame on a single person or party, let's understand the responsibility falls on many from both sides.
  25. Insults don't make for productive conversation. Facts and references do.
