Hoping to get out more this season (range and 18) now that the second kid will be 1 in March. I struggled last year. There’s only so many youtube training videos one can watch.

It’s that time for another season of discussing your game, the PGA, and anything golf related. Let’s face it, winter has sucked and the Waste Management is usually the first PGA event that turns me back into golf mode. Some of us discussed doing a GTG at the Ranch Golf Club in Southwick MA in the spring so let’s give it a shot. All levels welcomed and encouraged. Discuss, ramble...

Lock...them...up. We still have roughly 45 days to score a good/big event or two. Yea it’s been downright awful but we just gotta get lucky that a shortwave finally listens to Jimmy and does the unthinkable.

I thought this season would feature several big events but not a pack season with warm stretches and cutters. It’s all just an educated guess for me but 40/70 and Raindance have done well with tons of research...and they both think big coastals are likely ahead. Whether or not it produces for everyone, not likely. But if we get 2/3 good ones, even if I miss out...it was still a solid seasonal forecast.

We’re passionate about it (it’s why majority spend time tracking and posting) but yea, agree...nbd. I mean, anyone who has a hobby I’d hope would be very passionate for it. Otherwise, why are you doing it...just to pass time?

Not sure why folks who hate winter come into this thread. Strange souls seeking attention by going against the grain. For the winter lovers who this thread is for...bet on one or two big snows before we turn the seasonal page.

Think of all the comfy nights sleeping you can have now that it’s over.

We blew our good pattern load in Nov and early Dec. Now it will take 6-8 weeks to swing back around. We could thread the needle on a threat or two but this is a carbon copy theme of last season. Early and Late with trash in between.

Yea 10/11 is an all time for me. I landed 24” in CNJ for Boxing Day and then staying at my girls in Danbury for Jan was nuts. I doubt I’ll ever see two 24” storms within a few weeks of each other again...unless I purposely plan for or chase it. Although we want long winters I’m OK with punting Feb/Mar if you give me a 45 day stretch of continuous weenie tugs.

I’m big on how we get there vs total snowfall as well. Last season was normal snow but it was a D- winter imo.
