Looks like a 2 week winter then off to lawn mowings and flower planting in Feb and Mar...before the nao has revenge in April and May.

The only time I experienced thunder/lightning snow was skiing in Snowbird/Alta back in Feb 2005. Just got done for the day...roughly 4pm. It had been snowing all day. Then the skies opened up and boom/crack. And when you’re that high up in altitude, it feels like it’s on top of your head like a red hat. It was surreal.

Ah ok. I think DXR pulled 19” iirc correctly. Must of been a sharp cutoff heading east on 84. I was in CNJ at the time and piled up 24” inside the band.

Right on man. I know the feeling. We moved to NC late Jan 2013 and I just missed an all timer ...and by Sept, we were both home sick so we moved back in Oct.

What did you get in boxing day? I know the big band was extreme wct down thru nyc/nenj into senj.
