  1. The ull traversing over Jimmy’s head keeps trending further west and pushing the initial occlusion further sw. It doesn’t matter much for you as you’ll get the secondary swing but down here, we need that trending further east or weaker.
  2. But it’s not just one run or even one cycle of runs. Past several cycles with practically everything but the gfs69 is pushing the intial occlusion south. I’m not mailing anything in...just stating what I see.
  3. This could end up being congrats DC with the first qpf max before it dumbbells into ENE with the second max.
  4. I just checked precip maps and yes, it’s further south where we don’t get the overunning anymore.
  5. Euro looks deeper and a more defined at h5 thru 90 but I’m not sure how that would translate afterwards though.
  6. It is an imperfect art/science. I bust on almost every storm but you have to keep learning and keep plugging away.
  7. There was a big EC storm back on Dec17 and the pope has not returned to his homeland ever since, all because of the gfs.
  8. Fair enough. I’m just having a hard time remembering when it performed well with a significant ec winter storm...that’s all. Not saying the solution is not plausible because it is, eps members show that, but until there is more evidence to back it...I’ll weigh it very very lightly.
  9. Yup. It’s been fairly consistent with a coastal crush job but we can’t count on it.
  10. Yea. It was crushing DC to Philly with the 01/28 event 4 days out...and those weenies never got a chance to rev their snowblowers.
  11. Wife: What the eff did you do that for? Me: Because I’m only getting 4 inches Wife: That’s what I’ve been telling you for 9 years Me: ‘walks away’
  12. And then rubbed the walls around the house...wife blames the kids, until she sees my hands. Oops.
  13. I threw them against the wall scattered so he can see how not to behave as an adult.
  14. We can only hunt and pray at this point. It’s good to get the board hopping again though, far removed from the January tantrums that consumed so many...so regardless what happens in our backyards, it’s great to see winter again.
  15. This is what us west of the river are afraid of. When that shot up the board on the analog list, I Immediately grabbed my son’s crayons and snapped them in half...all of them.
