  1. It’s been tough sledding spinning the weather here so he’ll try to spin it on the spin eligible SM platforms instead.
  2. Yesterday and today felt good. Kids running around with water activities, they had a blast...while dad played hoops and broke some ankles like it was 1999. Unfortunately sustained summer ain’t happening until late June as the stubborn coc returns.
  3. Interesting. Some books aren’t because a WD is a WD so unless you finish 72 holes with the least amount of strokes, you did not win.
  4. Yea tough break but I’m not sure why he waited so long to get vaccinated though.
  5. Nice pool. We’ll come crash it sometime this summer lol.
  6. Back on now? 7/10 split here, perfect. We hate severe.
  7. Because of this right here: Most of the victims of the heat wave were elderly poor residents of the city
  8. Yea. Easy to install and then when the coc returns it is so easy to uninstall while those who took 45min with bulky window units can’t open their windows to let the coc in.
  9. After a short heat spike, looks coc-y again with low heights in se canada.
  10. Until you crashed into a pole drunk, as usual.
  11. Grilling poolside with 80s freestyle blasting...Summeh the way we drew it up.
  12. I was in WEHA through 2pm and it rained lol. Drizzle, showers...whatever you want to spin it, it was Cloudy and rainy. Temps below 70 is not summer. Just give it a rest already and pimp summer when it actually happens. You’re street cred is shot dude.
  13. We know how much Ditty loves facts...nearby WU station:
  14. You’re drunk earlier than usual today. It rained lightly.
  15. Yea...today is a textbook example of summer. 66/64 and cloudy with drizzle. I’ll keep that in mind over the next two months.
  16. You felt coc, lots of coc in May. Summer starts Saturday. Hang in there bud, almost there.
  17. Meh. 66/64 and cloudy. Far from the summer vibe the humid humpers were pimping.
  18. This is our last summer without central air. Actually, Aug 1st we’ll have it if everything goes as planned. I was surprised how many new-ish homes in the region don’t have it when I moved up to CT 10 years ago. Even if only for 2-3 months, it just makes sense. Sweating in a roach infested city apartment though with nothing but a fan...I’d rather just sleep on a park bench instead. I did live in a someone’s basement in France in 1983 for 2yrs which had a rat problem...but I was too young to remember.
  19. Window units may be slightly more energy efficient on a btu vs btu basis but I have one portable that cools the entire 1200sq ft first floor and 2 smaller units on the opposite ends of the house that cool the upstairs. Ive done this the past two summers vs one summer of window units and the cost and cooling is comparable. Just easier and less messy to use portables imo.
  20. So you think portable units don’t have BTU’s that cool? Lol
  21. Portable units are awesome. If you have the space for it as they are a bit bulky standing in front of a window.
  22. We roll 3 portable units into their windows and 5min later, install complete.
  23. It could be since I haven’t installed yet.
