  1. That would turn it brown, Chemistry 101. Bongs are so 1990s though…move forward bud. Your area will have dispensaries soon. The future is coming, start massaging your neuroticism’s now or you’ll be the old geezer on your block yapping how the world is not what it used to be.
  2. That’s about what I am seeing in person without DIT at the electric blue beer goggles on. Some trees are fully colored, some are mixed, and some are still mostly green. 50/50.
  3. AN temps with normal or AN snow seem to be more common lately too so if we took the past couple of winters and moved them back into the 80s, it would have resulted in less snow, imo (possibly). Increased water vapor is helping us balance out the temp trends a little. We need a favorable pac driven winter to roar back.
  4. I’m leaning towards an unfavorable pac so will need help from the atl again…which could or could not work. I’m also a firm believer in regression continuing, the 80s ain’t over yet.
  5. Don’t give up and try to focus on things that make you happier. I know…easier said than done but that’s all I can provide for you at this time. Keep the dialog going with your therapist too and family and friends. Life can be shitty but also amazing. Stay strong.
  6. Can you reach out to a family or friend? If not…is there a professional you could speak to?
  7. Hedgeuary...when we start trimming our hedges as spring approaches?
  8. Yea, add in thawuary and we really only have one month of winter.
  9. Yup. We've kneeled to corp profits since the 70s and the hyper globalization has allowed financial gains to be the biggest driver. We need to start valuing production again and turn all these empty mfg plants and red brick warehouses across the country back on to producing and not into shops and restaurants. Incentivize companies to produce domestically and penalize them for overseas production and importation. People complain that domestic production and higher min wage would raise prices well guess what....importing isn't cheap anymore. Container freight is 10x what is before the pandemic. The cost opportunity is there to mfg domestically which would create jobs and quicken our supply chain, to start. Now is the time to stop giving big corps handjobs and take bold action. If our current SC disaster doesn't trigger action then I don't know what will.
  10. You’re on the right track. Detaching and aerating is key. You can apply all the grass and fert you want but a compacted soil will crush the apps. Get your soil tested though..you made need lime.
  11. The supply chain issues run deep and is complicated. Buying American made is a great idea and people should make every attempt to do so…though it would only plug a few holes in a boat full of them. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/oct/01/america-supply-chain-shortages “What we’re experiencing is also the net result of decades of policy choices starting in the 1970s that emphasized consumer sovereignty over citizenship. The consolidation of power into the hands of private equity financiers and monopolists over the last four decades has left us uniquely unprepared to manage a supply shock. Our hyper-efficient globalized supply chain, once romanticized by men like Tom Friedman in The World Is Flat, is the problem. Like the financial system before the 2008 crash, this kind of economic order hides its fragility. It seems to work quite well, until it doesn’t. The specific policies that led to our supply constrained world are lax antitrust, deregulation of basic infrastructure industries like shipping, railroads and trucking, disinvestment in domestic production, and trade policy emphasizing finance over manufacturing.”
  12. The breakers to the AC were flipped off several weeks ago. This is comfy weather.
  13. A warm and wet summer with a strengthening nina as we head through fall doesn’t give me good vibes.
  14. Plus I generally don’t like paying for anything that I can do.
  15. 70% green in the CT valley as endless summeh continues.
  16. We know you hate warmth and would love snow now but the only dilemma stopping you is the October snow equals winter sucks, myth.
