My point is…2” of crud had more staying power 100yr ago then it does today, due to warmer nights and higher dews, so that meaningless 2” snowfall on 12/20/1921 may have lasted until Santa shot down the chimney while today, it would evaporate before Santa left his North Pole garage. Higher likelihood at least, relatively speaking.
