  1. I’m not saying I don’t agree. Simply asked where he gets that from.
  2. Show me the data, that’s all. Thanks.
  3. Show me the data you agree with. I’m not arguing one way or another, just interested in seeing the white christmas odds from 1800s-present. From what I read, 64% of the country has decreasing odds since 1980 while 31% have increased. 4% relatively unchanged. Source: noaa
  4. Where did you pull this data from?
  5. It’s been frustrating the past couple winters when the good pattern comes in Nov or Mar/Apr. i’d ideally like to see it come 12/20-3/10 in order maximize climo. The season is getting shorter anyway so let Jan and Feb behave like the way it should.
  6. Nice. That’s the target and our focus. Usher in a good pattern as climo becomes more favorable, and not the other way around.
  7. Yea and a nice rainy stretch incoming to kick off Dec.
  8. Are the weeklies still showing a prominent pattern for Santa and beyond?
  9. This should make WinterWolfie happier: Change in the November to March precipitation falling as snow (1973-74 to 2022-23)
  10. Those were good and perfect for WC festivities. I think I had a few on NYE and that’s it, nothing since. Unfortunately I can’t make this Saturday. I voted for 12/9 but lost.
  11. Winters with crappy Jans and/or Febs are frustrating. regardless of amounts, winter should usher in as the holidays unfold then dial it up as the calendar turns. Sure, we expect a cutter or two but it would be refreshing to time the good patterns with favorable climo for a change. We haven’t had that around here in years.
  12. This is the ideal timing we’d like a weenie look to develop. Not in Nov or March.
  13. As long as we’re not mowing during the holidays and there is some resemblance of a winter of yore. Anything before that is gravy but relying on the ATL to produce something snowy has become a failed experiment the last several years. Need more PAC help.
  14. Yea. It matches my AN nw of SE zones thoughts as well. I’m all in.
  15. The 4 seasons landscaping does a great job and it’s good they include all of SNE now.
  16. Yea. The pac is nothing like last year. It still comes down to results of course but we’re in good shape for at least an avg winter… with the upside for more imo. Not concerned.
  17. Exactly. No fights, all love and understanding, if they puffed and chewed instead.
  18. Go straight from fall cleanup to spring prepping.
  19. How big of an area do you do and how long does it take? You probably have to blow plow below a certain amount too?
  20. The pope’s flock of geese pooped on our bare brown lawns last winter by sensing persistence. But what are they sensing this winter?
  21. Somber time @dryslot but you’ll get threw it. All the best.
  22. It doesn’t have pretty precip type beams, not that I know of, though: https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/?parms=continental-conus-comp_radar-24-0-100-1&checked=map&colorbar=data
