  1. Probably 3.5 here in Owens cross roads, AL. It's really heavy snow... Limbs are struggling.
  2. I'm in that band... Just south east of downtown hsv... I'd say over 4 inches of snow...
  3. No warnings... Is the cap still in place? I'm an amateur... Not not savvy enough to know how to see it.
  4. Storms always follow the TN river... In my experience.
  5. Was this a case of old buildings and no shelters or was the tornado really that strong? Or option c, both...
  6. Anything out of Nashville? Winds are howling here in Huntsville. Qlcs about to move through the area. No warnings at present.
  7. Tornado warning for yazoo city...
  8. Well... I'm just stick about today. So many people affected by strong tornados... I'm truly concerned about our fellow men and women affected by today's weather...
  9. Shoal creek (big time country club in birmingham... Old money) estimates several thousand trees down on property.
  10. Silver lakes golf course was leveled before.... Looks like they are hit again.
  11. Glencoe and jacksonville were hit in same path a few years back. This is terrible....
  12. You're misunderstanding my point... I'm not writing it off. Quite the contrary... I'm saying that it is pretty normal for this area to have high amounts of tornados this time of year, many of them are very strong. It's become the new tornado alley. I'm simply saying, I'll be more surprised if we didn't have any tornados.
  13. We have had several of those as well, both through town and the suburbs. We're not new to strong tornados around this area. I'm just hoping that we don't have any today... Or ever really.. but it's just part of living in this area...
  14. I live in huntsville. We get tornados through here every year. This is just part of living in this area. They usually follow pretty similar paths through the valley as well.
