Nice heavy t-shower with a sprinkle of hail.
-
2.75" here also. Snowfall rate has slowed down considerably now.

I am surprised Gray doesn't have the South part of Grafton County (Plymouth area) NH is a WSW. The 850 line doesn't even get to us. I really expect more than 6-8". Even it is 6-8" and then sleet wouldn't that still verify as a WSW? Guess it really doesn't matter to the public.
Haddad agrees..

Freezing rain coming down decently.

Tiny flakes coming down hard. Looks pretty bad on the road, people were pushing to get up the hill outside my house.

Back to All-Time snow depth levels after the 9.5" that landed with the squalls.
Today the Mansfield stake depth is at 93"... breaking the old record of 88" from 1969.
The snow has never been deeper than it is today for late-January in the past 65 years.
The 12-foot stake is in trouble this winter if this trend continues in February and March. 2001 they put an extension on it and we may be heading that way.
Wish I had gotten an epic pass this year, but I had already gotten my "Mission Affordable" Ragged pass (no blackout full season pass for less than 2 days at Stowe) when Vail took over Sunapee. Almost tempting to head up even at day ticket prices.

Got my attention.
Shows up a little bit even at BDL
Maybe we can trend this into a snowstorm. I'm not ready for a washout.

Yep, 2/14/16 was 7F for a high but low was -16F which was coldest reading since 1957.
Todays high of 1F is the coldest high since January 1994 and you have to back to January 1981 to get a high colder (0F).
Today was the first time I've seen my road snowpacked the day after a storm. Last time I recall that happening was Jan '94, was thinking about that today.

Of course snowing almost heavily now that the drive is cleared.

Pretty good totals in upstate NY and VT. Throughway Thumper

Hair under 5", half inch of sleet in the last few hours is pretty impressive I guess. For a disappointing storm this should have some staying power at least.
-
Under the stronger echoes, can hear the pinging inside now. Looks like mostly PL with some tiny flakes also.

Has got to be the biggest bust for the major outlets in awhile.. 4.5" here. I didn't see anything indicating < 10" except for all the models and everyone on this forum.

Finally snowing at a decent clip.

3.3" new via 0.18"...so pushing 20:1
Got about 1/4" here.. noticed many models had an early hole over my area, guess that worked out.

I really like my small 1kw inverter generator.. It's small, quiet, sips gas, and plenty of power for electronics and works to charge up UPS batteries. I have a larger more traditional generator too, but for most outages I only run the little one. Something to think about it you are shopping generators.

Goalposts narrowing. Warning event for most of the forum excluding the king weenie unfortunately. I’m rooting for a Hail Mary jacking Diane for her bday present.
Little ditty about jacking Dianne.

You'd think I was getting crushed from the radar, but not much going on. Light rain and winds and no lightning.
