Definitely leaning towards pessimism as well. Find the model with the worst solution and bank on it- helps to deal with the pain.

I’ve always gone for lower rate regardless of duration and then switch when something better comes along. But these days duration may be just as important. I have 13 cents with Const. for 36 months. Something tells me I may be hanging on to that one for a while.
