  1. This is “The Perfect Storm”…..all major models show the eye developing at the 250mb level. Also, considering the tilted nature of its development, it will be a busy day later today. You have a strong tropical Burp crashing into a strong high that splits. With the full moon, this has distaster written all over it for CT, RI and southeastern MA. I’m hungry and I hope I get to eat my words.
  2. I’d like this thing to go OTS, but considering the time frame, I’m expecting something of a “landfall” in RI, the high pressure to the north is going to be the determining factor and how it splits. Another smaller, yet important factor, is going to be how strong the Low deepens upon their “dance.”
  3. The uncertainty is what’s has my “brain-a-tickin’
  4. Hide yo’ patio furniture, Hide yo’ wife. Considering there is a lot of disagreement among the models at this timeframe doesn’t bode well, especially for SNE (mainly GON/WOR eastward)
  5. Can we all just agree this is Top 10 of METEOROLOGICAL Spring? There are no insects, DST has kicked in, and there is a CHANCE of a final breath from Ol’ Man Winter later this March.
  6. Raining in Meriden, CT ATM. That warm front meant business this morning.
  7. As a fellow Meridenite and, technically, a meteorologist (WestConn is the best Con). Meriden got a foot or a little more….the dry slot or “snow-hole” was real for central CT.
  8. Is it possible this a Norlun-esque type of deal? Where it’s not well-forecasted on the models, but the quick intrusion of Arctic air causes chaos as it hits the Atlantic?
  9. My first post! I am glad to apart of the New England Weather Community who, as whole, knows whether or not, the weather will improve.
