I’ve always felt that heavy convection to the south can rob some of the precip to the north.

HRRR bumps precip on the nw edge. But I place no faith in this model so I guess it’s a net zero

Is there a reason every storm since 2016 with the exception of 2019 has trended the wrong way for us right before gametime? I actually agree. I wouldn’t care if it was just 2”. I’d just like for models in unison to get better as we approach game time. It adds excitement

At least in my neck of the woods in swva there was a significant strip of precip out in front of that storm that came through on Friday night. Then the storm really got cranking in Saturday evening. -
