  2. To be fair we, or at least most here don’t do that. We post obs of what’s happening and then give a total for a storm.
  3. I used to do this thing back before debit cards where no matter the amount of the check I wrote, when I recorded it I always wrote it to the next dollar amount. Like if I wrote a check for $12.23 it went into the register as $13. At the end of the month, I would always have a surplus of money left. Just felt that this analogy was relevant. Lol
  4. Now we seem to have gone back to a more fluffy snow. Coming down nicely
  5. If you go out you’ll see what I was talking about. Very icy flakes.
  6. Take caution with that mix line. These parachutes are heavily iced. Could throw off the radar
  7. Don’t leave out the ICON. It had the idea on the 6z run Friday, before the Canadian. This model has done very well recently
  8. This is like snowballs falling from the sky
  9. Still snow here but it’s a very icy snow. Very dense. A lot like the consistency of sleet. The qpf on this snow is gonna be unreal is my guess
  10. The storm that was there, then gone, then back, then gone LOL, seems to be back across all models. Details now to be worked out.
  11. Building it. Slowly LOL. Have built the entire thing completely by myself (other than foundation).
  12. But each passing day brings us that much closer to fall.
  13. And we didn’t have blocking for 10 years. Past occurrence doesn’t predict the future.
  14. Oh yeah. I have no passion for tomorrow. But I appreciate the laugh of the HRRR mention. Probably be 30 and heavy snow
  15. I’m in the group that once “snow” is a couple hour event (because as soon as it stops it starts melting and a day later it’s 60 degrees) then I’m done. A perfect example for me is the March 2013 storm. 11” of snow and I hated that event to it’s core. By 10 am that morning (most of the snow happened before dawn) it was like a flood of melting. By dark 11” of snow was at most 3 or 4. On the other hand, about a week later we had a very light event, but it was really cold for March. We had accumulating snow and snow and ice covered roads in the middle of the afternoon .... that didn’t melt. I really enjoyed that event. I guess as the name suggests, I love winter weather. And one requirement of that is temps below 32 and frozen, whether falling or laying on the ground. To each their own. But more to your post, by about the third week of March, I’m completely done.
