  1. All gonna come down to timing though and we aren’t that far out yet
  2. I won’t predict but the change out west at 69 doesn’t make me feel good. Let’s see how it goes
  3. Much cleaner and well timed phase. Now if we can get this to happen 100-150 miles further west, and perhaps a bit deeper, game on.
  4. So yeah, I agree. We either have to eject the sw piece sooner or slow down/move west the ns piece. I like the option of slowing that ns piece in hopes of a clean phase. However it happens I still maintain we need a neutral tilt at the least by the Mississippi River.
  5. I actually think it’s the timing on the gfs that’s hurts. That ns piece drops in too soon and instead of a clean phase it just rips the guts out of the piece in the sw. The NAM timing looks like it would have been better.
  6. Stupid analysis time, but the NAM at 66 would lead to a better outcome. Stronger energy diving down at west, better trajectory, and better flow in front. It’s the NAM and it’s 66 hours. So my post is a literary version of dumb and dumber.
  7. I would think the stronger the low is, the sharper the cutoff will be.
  8. Lol yeah I knew you weren’t directing that at me. I don’t trust an op solution at one day much less 6
  9. This is the key. I think it’s import to get them closer longitudinally also. I had just taken @yoda post to illustrate that west is important for both pieces, not just the southern piece. Again, just my uninformed opinion. Top is the 6z
  10. Forecast low here Wednesday night is -1.
  11. Yeah we had a 2 hour period of light snow last night. Not sure how much but everything whitened up outside.
