    I keep thinking the models will back off but they keep holding and actually upping the amounts the closer we get. Amazing!

    The 2-9 inch range in Paducah seems a little vague.

    Tulsa upgraded to Winter Storm Warnings! 6-12 inches north of I40. Blowing and drifting snow possible.

    This is just a monster storm. Like two and a half to three day event. Somebody is really going to cash in if this thing comes a little more north.

    This has to be the biggest spread I’ve seen on the AO forecast.

    18z GFS shows some promise after 300 hours. Cold air comes down through the plains with below average temperatures all the way to the gulf. Christmas Eve and Christmas look to torch though. Just need to dislodge that cold air out of central Canada

    Looks like Springfield did go ahead and post an advisory for you guys in Missouri.

    GFS is close to something on December 1. Would really be nice to have some snow for the holiday season.

    12z euro really brings the cold later in this run . Dropping it out west and slowly moving it into our area along with some snow. Still battling that ridge in the east.

    Cold air stalls out west on the 18z GFS and doesn’t make its way east. Huge difference in temperature across Kansas.

    Got up to 80 today. Got some yard work done. Not bad for the middle of November.

    Anytime I see heavy snow and a low of 5 degrees in my forecast I feel pretty good about things. Good luck everyone!

    NAM had 12-15 inches across the four state region. That snow will be around for a while with the cold that settles in over the next week.

    The temperatures that the Canadian shows are epic. This would be Feb 2021 like.

    Tonight’s GFS run looking very interesting. Multiple rounds of winter precipitation coming through the 11th, 12th, and 13th.
