88/78 was the high did not hit 90 here today, kfrg a couple miles to my north hit 90 though

Up to 89 now, I figured I was done after hitting 88 at I don't think 90 is possible at this time but still an decent late day high especially after the rain rolled through this morning. Heat index at 98

Late high here 88/74 as of 5:30 pm, heat index up to 97. 

87/73 for me in Lindenhurst as of 4 pm

Of course Suffolk is the only county in the area not to be in the watch, expectations are zero

Loving this string of low/mid 80’s though, I was at the beach until sunset yesterday.

I haven’t really noticed much browning yet here on the south shore of LI but it definitely coming. Only a tenth of an inch this month as well.

Reminiscent of the August 2014 flood event, almost exactly 10 years ago too
