I don’t know what is going to happen but I know the Piedmont Triad has discovered every way possible to miss a good snow in the last number of years. You should start expecting it to miss. And then it does lol .
Euro AI and WeatherNext 2.0 look pretty similar to my untrained eye. After all of this AI and model talk, I’m watching with interest those models relative to the traditional ones .
ICON EPS still throws a similar amount of precip this way, just slightly less. I agree with everyone else, I think we’re all worried about missing to the south. By far the biggest threat here .
If you live anywhere, not on the coast or in South Carolina, they are empty. Literally nothing lol. If you live in South Carolina or eastern Georgia here you go .
We have a favorite pattern for sure. We just need the energy not to miss north and south. I didn’t mean OR I meant AND because if this one misses, it’s going to be south haha.
I don’t have access to it but apparently NextWeather 2.0 also shows storm potential. Doing this an hour after the huge snowstorm that turned into some sleet just got finished with is extra sick, which is why I love it
It’s been said already, but the cold air is so cold at the surface that it wreaked havoc on forecasts. I wouldn’t be surprised if Winston-Salem gets some of the squall line as some pouring sleet
