  1. I think the Raleigh total will be much higher, but this is a trend in the right direction overall from that model .
  2. Icon all but throws in the towel. Starting to leave the UK on an island. .
  3. Someone in the eastern part of North Carolina or southeastern Virginia is going to get absolutely hammered here. .
  4. Me too wish they would let me take this right now [emoji1787] .
  5. NAM was a much better run for me. Don’t care if the jackpot is east of me I want my half foot give or take. Not mad at all at that. .
  6. NAM much more in line with other guidance there. It’s a fine line, we all know this. A statewide win is very possible here .
  7. According to the new king, NextWeather 2.0, there IS something to keep an eye on for that time frame. .
  8. It’s followed the trend of the 12z runs to be lighter and to shift the heaviest precipitation east. But it’s been very consistent. It’s a very fascinating weather model will be curious to see how it does. .
  9. I would take it right now and I’m even in the zone that gets some of the lighter amounts. A statewide win like this would be so cool. .
  10. I have believed all along that in the triad, the most optimistic outcome was 6 to 8 inches. It’s still possible but give me 4 to 6 and I’m not gonna complain one bit. .
  11. Euro freezing on its most important run in years around here is peak stuff. Have to love its flare for the dramatic. .
  12. You look like you’re in a great spot. Genuinely excited for you because there’s been so much pain lol. I know there’s a lot of anxiety coming with the next few model runs, but it would take a model failure on a cataclysmic level now. Unfortunately, still doable as we all know. But getting less likely! .
  13. CMC and GFS very similar. I don’t think I’m getting 14 inches of snow in the Triad. But 6 to maybe pockets of 8 to 10? Starting to feel doable. Don’t know about likely but doable. .
  14. Raleigh is in position A. CMC looks like a big hit for them too. Congratulations to the coastal folks. I would take the GFS at the CMC in a heartbeat in the Triad and gladly forget the NAM existed .
  15. GFS really going to stick to their guns here. That is a very nice statewide win and here in Winston-Salem I would gladly take that snow and let the coast celebrate those big numbers. .
  16. I feel like that area is in a good spot no matter what. Would take a major change to change that. .
  17. Great run for Raleigh east. Not a great run for the Piedmont triad or south central VA. It’s also NAM out of its range. .
  18. I don’t really trust NAM at the range we’re getting to, but watching trends is important. If it’s on board too, it’s still a positive .
  19. Each of the last 3 runs of that model have trended toward that solution .
  20. I look at all of them, but will definitely weigh WFMY heavier than the others. .
  21. I wouldn’t complain, but beggars can’t be choosers and snow has been scarce so if you would give me 6 inches of fluffy white powder right now I would take it .
  22. These high end totals are very nice, and it’s on the table realistically for someone. But honestly I’d take 4-6 inches and call it a day .
