  1. These models have had issues 24hrs out but ya never know
  2. Just waiting on the typical NW shift and to be speaking on a convergence 4+ days out is dangerous.
  3. Be safe man and everyone else lurking as I am not even in Buffalo and nerves are shot. Maybe having kids who are sick gives some perspective…I dunno. Feel like there is almost shocking disconnect with some people, like many have zero clue what’s about to happen. They closed schools tomorrow around Cuse burbs and just pray everyone is safe. Happy hunting!
  4. Still many model runs to go through over the next 4-5 days. Have faith as I am hoping it comes back more towards the original solution, not identical but similar. These models have been hot and cold- some things on them seem off.
  5. They are flying out tomorrow Saturday!!! Wtf Then flying back after the game so the players can be with their families before flying back Tuesday/Wednesday
  6. You’ll be ok- I am at the Marriot Harborcenter and you’re literally a jog north. There are so many variables as to where this band will set up…shit, it could park itself just south of the city. It will make slight movements once established…will be fun to watch unfold.
  7. No- wasn’t Cantore. It was a camera man who was fired up. If Jim is here, I will get a pic with him.
  8. Evening all- I am out in Buffalo for work until Friday- gonna be a tough trek back to Cuse Friday but know how to navigate these bands. Funny, was in elevator at my hotel and met a guy from TWC out here covering the storm. Not sure what was more impressive, the jacket or the case of Labatt Blue. Super nice guy!
  9. I am tossing strictly based on the snow hole over Oneida Lake. Even the NAM is in on the Northern Onondaga winter hoax.
  10. That took a while to snip Syracuse out of the list didn’t it? Bone head? Brother- you don’t know me so watch the insults and proceed with caution.
  11. The World's 8 Snowiest Cities: #1 = Valdez, Alaska. #2 = Aomori City, Tōhoku, Japan. #3 = Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. #4 = Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. #5 = Toyama, Hokuriku, Japan. #6 = St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. #7 = Syracuse, NY. #8 = Erie, Pennsylvania. Rochester not making the cut and apparently, regardless of population, is not the snowiest city in the US. Cheers!
  12. Yeah…by 50k-75k people? Rochester vs Cuse and your splitting hairs. And Cuse says hold my beer regarding you stating “Rochester is the snowiest city in the US”.
  13. 3. Rochester, New York: 102.0 inches Rochester, some 70 miles east of Buffalo, receives more than 100 inches of snow in a typical winter. Much of it comes in the form of lake-effect snow off Lake Erie to its southwest and Lake Ontario to its north. 2. Erie, Pennsylvania: 104.3 inches Erie is situated on the immediate shoreline of Lake Erie in northwestern Pennsylvania. Snowbands off this Great Lake vault its average seasonal snowfall to more than 100 inches. 1. Syracuse, New York: 127.8 inches Syracuse takes home the crown as the snowiest city in America, averaging 127.8 inches each winter. That's just shy of 11 feet of snow, most of which is courtesy of the large body of water to its northwest: Lake Ontario.
  14. Honestly, the one F”””ING week I have to go to Lake Placid? I happened to be working in Buffalo the last big LES event and now I have to drive my family through the Dacks Thursday AM. Appreciate any insight y’all can offer in terms of timing…I lurk and admire but this round, would appreciate any guidance. TY
  15. Pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered! Lol! Haven’t you had enough? I was working out your way and cried uncle several times. Snow is beautiful to watch fall, especially when you have kids. When working, it is a real F’ing problem
  16. All good brotha- want to see you guys get crushed but also, as a snow lover, know there are some peeps that have been watching every run. They have watched the dry slots and the F’ing purple band over N. Onondaga for 3 days with no shifts. Truly appreciate the passion and persistence you have displayed.
