Ukie is almost a copy....
I hadn't seen it yet... but I really never look at that model anyway. This evening will be interesting

The ukie is similar.
I put pretty much NO stock in that model, but fair enough

Euro has been flopping around and is an outlier. Tossed
I have to agree with you here. If there was other guidance that suggested this, I would be concerned... but I haven't seen anything remotely close

Thought we were supposed to save a horse?
Time to sniff some glue from that horse Meso vs global now. I hate to parrot something from Tolland, but something does seem a little off

Winter storm warnings have been issued

Agree....I'm hoping for a south tick, at this point....I don't love the look of the mid levels.....looks like a big WCB, then a lot of crap after maybe 8-10".
Looks like you may have just that on the 6Z GFS. Need to study it more

Not worth much at this range

GFS continues with the bobble head track. Got to like what the 6Z is showing

MVY is awesome, its so cozy have family out there. been probably a dozen times. they got a killer christmas day miracle last year 5-10"
My family has been vacationing in Truro since 1970. We built a house there in 1982, and saw my largest positive forecast bust there Thanksgiving 1989. They called for a dusting to a couple inches and we ended up with 18! As far as this storm... the 6Z GFS seems un PHASED with our desires for snow. Lets see if this trend continues at 12Z, or if it's just bouncing around

Man, people need to chill. This is still 5+ days out. Good cross-model support for a nice storm and the ensembles have some good hits. I mean, yeah I get the “gotta be real” and all that, but look at it from glass half full once in a while, no? Enjoy the ride.
For those of us who enjoy tracking as much as actual outcome, it's great just to have something to look at

I still like my chances of hitting climo this season.
Likewise in my location. We're not far off at all right now

Nice eye candy on the 6z GFS
Yup, another run, another clown solution. Roll the dice and place your bets for 12Z

Yeah, I'd risk the 6Z GFS. At least there's been a signal of sorts in the time frame...

If you don't like that run of the GFS just wait for 4 hours, if this year proves anything it will be a totally different outcome at that point. Ensembles??

Is Berry's the kinda run down store that overlooks the road and the river?
Top of Coburn is AMAZING. There's been a few years when there was so much snow there you couldn't get anywhere near the top

Still living at 300+ hours I see. This would normally get you a 21 bun salute.
Normally would... but the tenor and attitude of the posts is far different than many of the other annoyances that post here. It's done in actual good fun and with the understanding of what it may or may not turn out to be. It's refreshing and doesn't come across as annoying

I mean aren’t we already doing that? Green hydrogen, carbon capture and underground storage, switching to renewables, etc.
No none of them are at scale because no one wants to pay for them.
Two problems exist:
1. Whole economies are dependent on fossil fuels.
2. The Paris Agreement was signed with the ambitious goal of 1.5C…. Well guess what… as Tip mentioned, the planet is basically telling us we’re already there. So while today’s solutions aren’t the extremes you are thinking of, large scale climate engineering is all happening, it’s just not happening fast enough.
So I suppose in the end you Re correct, we’ll probably drop a nuke into Krakatoa.
Atmospheric seeding to reflect sunlight is the latest buzz I keep hearing. Watch them actually try it and 10 years later everyone's complaining it's too cold...

Yeah it's a hike. Never used to trailer up there easier to rent.
We always brought our own sleds. We're all to picky with our equipment... heaven forbid they might try to rent us something besides SkiDoo

Mostly Maine. Northern outdoors.
Love that area. We used to stay at Inn by the River, but got sick of the LONG drive. Also, I prefer the VT trail system better. Maine gets boring, all the trails look the same

Western Maine, and northern Maine is a fabulous place to sled….if you’re big into sledding, it’s top notch.
I guess I just can't even imagine needing a guide on such a simple trail system in an area like ME, NH or VT. Maps are great and it's impossible to get lost really. We'll never ride NH ever again because of bad experiences in the past. Really irritating to be stopped and checked every other town by law enforcement. Maybe it's changed, but not worth it for us to find out

I always use a guide for the first day in a new area. Get the lay of the land.
In New Hampshire or VT?? Only place we ever had a sort of guide was our week trips to Canada
Following a Miller A/B hybrid type coastal potential, Feb 13th ... As yet untapped potential and a higher ceiling with this one
