HEAVY rain in Ellicott City. Wouldn't want to be downtown right about now. My backyard is now a river and I'm on high ground!

I'm ready for summer lake/beach weather. Deep creek lake water temp is currently 57 and OCMD is 61. Gimme some HHH!

Looks good to me. Kids haven't played softball in over a week and we *might* get an outfield only practice in tonight. HoCo needs to invest in a Dome or fix the drainage on their fields because it is taking FOREVER for them to dry out.

We don't get deep, wide precipitation bands anymore. Looking at radar I would expect that look in the tropics or out in Hawaii. Lots of individual cells that pop up / disappear quickly. Not sure what is the reason behind it.

Crazy winds and sideways rain, lasted for about 5 minutes. Oak pollen strands clogged my gutters up good!

Add in 9am - 1pm Saturday. My kids have had 3 softball rain outs in the first two weeks.

I know we need the rain but.. most likely three softball events this weekend are gonna be cancelled. Why can't it do this during the week!

One thing we really excel at around here. Wind. The only time I don't mind wind is when it is snowing, just recently snowed, or there are piles of snow on the ground. Otherwise wind can go F off. I would enjoy these cold sunny days a lot more if there wasn't a bone chilling wind.

i dont trust the kooch and probably at least an inch or so of virga. 3-6" would be a good call for i-66 through DC. 2-4" up by Baltimore. Short pump probably hits double digits, UGH.

This is why its dumb to call a snow day when its "too cold" or theres a bit of ice somewhere on some sidewalk in the shade. We've had 2-3 "soft" snow days this year which could be used for days like tomorrow. Oh well same here if they start using spring break days... I've already booked London so my kids will just have to get their education overseas that day.
