  1. The nam3k simulated reflectivity goes absolutely HAM. Usually it gives up on convection and forms a line...the 18z run... not so much.
  2. The UKmet is really getting bullish. MS and AL would get absolutely hammered
  3. The 12z GFS is looking meaner than the 0z last night. Larger warm sector.
  4. The UKmet is downright frightening with its warm sector on Thursday
  5. The soundings I'm seeing for Thursday are on par with last Easter
  6. From a probabilistic standpoint, the 45% contour did verify. However the language used in the convective outlook was too strong (i.e. several long track, violent tornadoes) for the actual event. The shear profiles for Thursday are more supportive of a violent tornado than last week.
  7. The shear progs are much higher this time around. The threat of a violent tornado is going to be higher than last Wednesday given that current model trends continue.
  8. That split jet formation is looking concerning... now how far north does the warm front get?
  9. Severe weather event thread for the possible event later this Thursday in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama
  10. The cell in southwest MS is really increasing
  11. The latest HRRR would be a devastating solution for Jackson, MS
  12. There may have been a TDS in Cypress, AL a few minutes ago.
  13. Triangulate from Jackson up to Memphis, extending east towards B'ham? Maybe?
  14. Strongly worded AFD from BMX, mentions violent tornadoes. To me this indicates they are going to be coordinating with the SPC and thinking a High Risk.
  15. Better for severe weather, should have clarified that. The LLJ looks a good bit stronger with cleaner hodographs.
