  1. I need to see a numeric chart or two and feel more confident in outcomes
  2. The percentage is roughly 1/3 mortality rate for people who develop symptoms, though most carry it never knowing. Maybe a genetic thing, also age immune system strength etc. probably also factor in.
  3. that's a sizzler later next week on the ec ens
  4. Yeah, looks like seasonable warmth at best. A few renegade warm/hottish days but we keep it moving with cfp's and radiational cooling nights
  5. seasonably mild with a few warm days..nbd
  6. It's going to be a warm one. No one mentioned heat waves or torches. Hopefully around that modeled HP, a very deep meridonal flow takes over to rocket a powerful TC into SW CT
  7. EPS mean looks warm prior to our major hurricane impact
  8. Sandy, Floyd, Edouard, Irene, Bertha etc....we have (largely) dodged bullets since Bob. More luck than anything
  9. The Great Torch of 2012 is an honorable mention, though not a single event.
  10. "Past practice" says the EC in general should watch that one.
  11. Interesting, my 2nd uncle was Superintendent at West Point long ago.
  12. I don't remember the '89 one, was on Cape Cod. However August 1992 in Falmouth MA, around the 12th? was pretty good. Lots of hail and lightning strikes for several hours. Wind damage, flooding. Top 20 for me in SNE, especially on that broken wx island.
