  1. https://journals.ametsoc.org/mwr/article/82/8/228/97420 Does anyone have the McGuire one referenced within? cannot find
  2. Boring is good. Though a few more t-storms would have been nice, too
  3. No need for crippling, torrential dews. 95/65 is perfect
  4. Maybe the greatest summer of all-time
  5. Anyone see that >1" of rain in 5 minutes, I think Delaware. Lol
  6. I would guess 38 was a lopsided cane but it did have an intact eye iirc, and the heaviest rain as you just posted was near and even right of track. Maybe some was PRE but 38 was nothing like Gloria or Bob with a nearly dry east of track.
  7. At least it had near hurricane conditions ( 70mph at our cape houses, 90 ack) and big surf for folks, unlike that last POS
  8. it will be interesting to see how much SSTs can rebound the next few weeks.
  9. I am no expert but they also have to navigate layers of contract law with unions, which bogs down the process too
  10. Yeah, that NE curve as it passed BID saved I95. Will said 100+ miles but even 50 miles would have rocked around 10 million more people in the Boston and PVD metros
  11. Bobs worst was around 5x worse than Isaias. I'd never trade that experience for this clunker
  12. MHT is on a little plateau in the river valley. ASH and that airport site is in a relative hole.
  13. maybe a 45-50mph gust. One lone gust
  14. Basically a breezy cfp, minus the dew down
  15. Decent gust here, maybe 40mph. A few snaps
  16. An aside, watch out for bee stings where it was particularly windy with damage. They be angry
  17. Interesting cell NW of here/lowell by a few miles. A bit gusty in the wake of that.
  18. 15 mph and back edge approaching. Winding down of that is possible. Max winds around 28-30mph. 76.3
