  1. Its a 2-4/3-5 storm. Its fine. I'm not complain about it except knowing people to the NE of us are gonna get smacked. Whatever.
  2. Can someone PM me the zoom link please? I am on the phone call but would like to see the maps.
  3. Brother look at the surface. It's the NAM so I am not going to get carried away. But it was still snowing in Myrtle Beach at 84. There was a ton of snow left. Especially for you guys to the east.
  4. It was almost there. Probably next frame if there was one.
  5. The NAM is a crippling snowstorm for every major city north of Florida. Goodness what a run.
  6. 990 off OBX and puking. Please god let this dreadful model be right for once.
  7. Looking at the surface. First flakes into the Winchester area at 63. Same as all of the other models. I hope they are right. That will be a big part of our storm out here.
  8. I hate having to ignore so many people. But I just have too so I can maintain my sanity.
  9. Look at the difference in the position of the PV from 18Z. Should have more space to climb once it starts to phase as well. Just guessing. But I think we are about to get Nam'ed.
  10. I think the NAM is going to be even better this run. Stronger vort and it appears to be dropping in quicker.
  11. Pretty interesting that all of the models have the front end precip over the Winchester area at about the same timeframe. Event he NavGem has it. Just a weird observation. Nothing more.
  12. Imagine being such a butthurt troll that you need to create 2 burner accounts to come back to a place that doesnt want you. People are odd man.
  13. I mean it is 4-6 region wide. Yeah we dont get the best stuff. But that is a sweet storm for us.
  14. It is off shore. But the damn thing is just so huge that the precip field is way west. What a monster storm.
  15. The front end is so much better this run. No idea what the coastal will do. But that part looks fine.
  16. 22 years ago today was the surprise snowstorm for DC. Also known as the Carolina Crusher. The storm was supposed to miss SE and ended up being a great storm for just about everyone. By the way. Can someonw recommend a site for historical upper air maps other than this one: https://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/ncepreanal/ http://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/ncepreanal/data/2000/01/reanal_2000012500.gif
  17. Yeah. Being further east than me you have a better chance to get some of the coastal in Westminster. If I go to my place in OC and they get 30 I know I am not leaving there for at least a week. I was there for an 18 incher and it was a S show for 4 days. I really wish we could get double digits for everyone in the subforum.
  18. In a strange twist I dont know if I can chase this thing to OC if they are getting 30 inches. I cant get stuck there for a week. No chase due to too much snow. That is a new one.
