Also, in earthen West Virginia most places received 3”-8 inches of snow yesterday. And the snow will still be on the ground tomorrow. I don’t think the models are counting in the snowpack which could equal to a 1-3 degree drop in the temperature from the model runs. something to think about.

I’m starting to think places above 3,000 feet near Snowshoe, WV could even see a mix at some point. Still expecting 12”+ in and around Snowshoe though.

TWC has a large area of 6”+. D.C 1-4”

Seems solid. Most of us are inside 6”+

I really like the euro 12z run. nothing crazy like 30”+. Around 4-5” for D.C. seems like a good bet with the data right now.

NOAA office in Charleston going in very conservative for snowfall for eastern WV. I’m expecting more than 9” inches for Snowshoe.

Picked up 6.2 at my location at Slatyfork WV. will hopefully have over 20” inches on the ground by Thursday morning

Heavy heavy snow Falling where I am in slatyfork, WV right now. About 3” inches so far. Waffles are falling from the sky

Ski country towards snowshoe, WV gets buried with 12”-18”. Still above 6” for most.

Temperature is now 33 where I am. expecting to see 5-10” inches

Okay I'm happy. Looks like I can lock in a 4-8'' inch event for Cville. Anything more would be a bonus. I may drive up to PA to experience the true heavy stuff.

I think the heavy R/S line may end up being over D.C. where D.C will get around 10'' or less than 3''. My money is on the GFS.
