  1. About an inch of rain here, pretty good.
  2. Central Park is notorious for recording a statistically anomalous number of 89 degree days lol so they were like 10 to 15 90 degree days lower than surrounding stations in 2010 (and pretty much every year since the early 2000s.)
  3. It lasted a while, I remember waking up with snow/sleet and it was still falling that night.
  4. I think most of it was from what I remember. Maybe it started as rain, but I can't remember that part. I just remember it was snowy and sleety, lots of sleet, mostly sleet lol
  5. I've seen places that post pictures of 20 feet of snow in Japan in local forums too and no one bats an eye. Point is if the east wind wasn't here you'd be +20 right now
  6. This cloud deck made it so dark this morning, I woke up thinking it was at least an hour earlier judging by the light level.
  7. I didn't know there was a Divi literally called "all inclusive." Looks like it's on Eagle Beach, it's nice there. To tell you the truth that whole stretch from the capital on north is amazing.
  8. Divi Phoenix? I remember when they were building that. I once stayed at the Divi Dutch Village back when I was young and didn't have any money lol I loved it though, it was still beautiful!
  9. Marriot right? I stayed at the Stellaris "wing" many years ago. But I prefer the Hilton overall. That whole stretch is hard to go wrong though.
  10. You lost weight, nice job lol
  11. NAM was first to see it getting closer than ideal
  12. Yesterday was really nice. I kind of like the wind. Around the city and inland away from the water the wind goes dead for long stretches with dewpoints in the mid 70s, that's the worst part of summer for me.
  13. They are. "Delivery" costs are higher than the energy itself on the bill.
  14. Lol I liked your post, I don't disagree with you. I hate Con Edison with a passion, they are major ripoff artists. I wish I had a solar setup. Leave it to the geniuses at Albany, while on the one hand championing green energy, they shut off a nuclear plant that supplied NYC with over 25% of its electricity, immune to global price shocks and producing basically no greenhouse gases. Now NYC actually produces more greenhouse gases than before lol good job guys!
  15. Solar panels and a dividend, sick setup, but still has some downsides, he can tell you about those if he feels like it
  16. We don't all get free electricity like you
  17. The Sun is already a beast this time of year. Unless it's windy and cloudy even a high of 40 feels good in full Sun.
  18. 36 degrees here right now, feels good honestly lol
  19. It's amazing there are any trees at all on this planet with all these damned pests. I had a 60 year old Ash tree with a beautiful crown get wrecked by the Emerald Ash Borer. Imagine paying a few thousand dollars to remove a tree you never wanted removed to begin because of something the size of a freakin dime.
  20. I am not ready to take that bet lol Gun to head if you ask me blindly what the deparrtures would be for any time period in the future I always go positive.
  21. Yea this loop is deep into fantasy land, local weather is fickle around here in spring.
  22. Nice info here for the climate change denialists, It's a high temp, not a low, and it's in the middle of nowhere, not an urban location. Look at all those years, all from the very recent past.
  23. I'd rather have hot and dry and breezy than ultra high dewpoints and a dead wind. But a 75/45 day, nothing beats that!
