    NWS Wichita reporting thundersnow in the area. I am currently sitting on the brutal SE cutoff depicted by models and have no clue what I'll get here (TBH the NW cutoff is worse though). I would love to see some thundersnow later that's for sure.

    Peoria, IL has only recorded one day this month with a positive temperature departure (+3F on the 4th) . Crazy how persistent the cold has been. Looks like we will pick up another inch or so of snow tonight. I am looking forward to the brief warm up around Thanksgiving as there is still yard work that needs to get done!

    Looks like I'll be north of the heaviest stuff. Crazy to get missed to the south at this time of year! Interesting setup for sure. I am kind of bitter about missing out on a spring and a fall this year though... Here's a neat infographic from PAH on November 2" snowfalls in Paducah

    I'm in awe. The snow hasn't stopped and has started accumulating on elevated surfaces. Temp down to 33F. It was 85F just 3 days ago!

    I'm in central IL near Peoria and it is snowing here. I think it's the earliest I've ever seen flakes, and to top it off it hasn't even been 6 months since the last snow. We skipped spring this year, and it looks like we might just skip fall too. The leaves have barely started changing colors here so the trees will take a beating if all the green leaves just freeze off.
