    Yes, but some of those models didn't get everything right. For example, although the HRRR handled the northern tier of VA well with it's consistent snow prediction, it crapped the bed down here around Charlottesville. Never got any of the sweet snow the HRRR was trying to sell.

    I grew up in WV and recall many a white Christmas, but that's been tempered living in Charlottesville, VA. It's been a hard lesson realizing that the mountains take any and all clipper moisture and wrench it clean out of the atmosphere. Im sure Turkey day will be fine.....it's Christmas that matters most.

    I'm in Duck right now on the first night of a week vacay. Wanted to cancel but not refundable unfortunately. No rain yet but windy as all get out. Hope this thing spins away in a few days so we see at least a couple of good days.
