  1. 70 degrees and full sun — I’ll take the under
  2. High country could for sure be in the game still. My comments are for RDU which will be averaging 65+ degrees in 10 days. So it would take father of Barney type purples/whites to show up for a snow chance, and that’s not on any guidance.
  3. Yeah, that’s the story. Southeast is heading to spring right on time. Enjoy it. Was a helluva winter folks!
  4. Yeahs its pretty weird. This feels like a top 7-8 coldest winter of my entire life
  5. Those 60s and 70 degree temps will take care of it
  6. I mean if you list off some of the most dynamic storms in North American history, sure
  7. Boone gets snow if someone in Charlotte farts
  8. Between 540 and Falls Lake is like Beverly Hills these days. I saw a listing for $8M
  9. Sun is absolutely working the snow. Roads and sidewalks are clearing off on their own and roof is rushing water
  10. It’s dumping fatties! Is this the greatest storm of all time??
  11. We need father of Barney type cold to deliver in March. As mentioned above, by end of month, we’re almost 70 degrees for highs in Raleigh. Not to mention — if it does fall, you need rates-of-the-plague to overcome a ferocious sun angle. When it’s on the ground, it gone within hours.
  12. Mostly northern transplants trying to fool themselves they moved somewhere warmer. Special breed of tree that can withstand harsh temps
  13. I’d say GFS. Was a touch too high but didn’t bounce around like the others.
  14. Not to mention it’s purely for transient nomads who live there temporarily, rendering it a soulless hellscape. But I digress.
  15. Proximity to ocean and coastal storms + being further north + Charlotte has elements of downsloping
  16. Raleigh also averages twice as much snow as Charlotte — albeit nominal amounts, and have had bigger snowstorms in history. So I suppose weird junkies in a way because we know what is possible.
  17. My favorite storm in at least 10 years. Might not be the biggest but it was just perfect.
  18. Got mine to bed, made a bourbon and did a jeb walk
