    I left this board for the main reason that the “mid Atlantic” thread is solely about MD and NOVA. God forbid we mention central VA. If anyone has telegram or WhatsApp we can make a group chat specifically for this area.

    No point in even watching behind 4-5 days out. RIC is right. Maybe time for a break for all of us unless something is consistent within 72 hours. Don’t even go on the main thread, they don’t care about us down here. I saw someone here asked for ice maps earlier and they blatantly ignored the request because well we’re not in their area. We deserve snow but it just gets awfully hard to keep watching when the same results happen again and again.

    1-2 inches before some crazy ice is completely possible. Look at the 18z euro. Tick south 25-30 miles we’re in a small event situation.

    Sadly I feel like this threat is over. Maybe I’m crying chicken little but when the euro does this it’s always over. Maybe the 0z will change my mind. Gotta love central VA and its climate at this point. edit: this was extreme. I’m moving to Florida next January and I just want my son to experience what I experienced in the 90s.

    I’m not upset. I apologize if I came across that way. The frustration comes from Richmond constantly experiencing getting fringed. I hope you guys understand that. We are thirsty down here. Our climo used to be decent and recently it’s gone down hill. Didn’t mean to attack anyone or come across as bitter. The shift north on the euro isn’t good for us or NOVA because it seems as if it starts that movement it keeps going.

    You root for us all the time? Come on now. There’s a reason there’s a whole separate thread. Richmond is still the Mid-Atlantic but anytime it’s mentioned people like to dismiss us.

    Have some pity for me in Richmond. Every single time we get reeled in 4-5 days out and it’s snatched away. Maybe VA/MD just aren’t it anymore.

    If the northern trend continues as it typically does you might as well be in York for the brunt of it.

    The main thread won’t allow this nonsense. Of course it trends north. Anything south of York PA isn’t a snow area anymore apparently. Maybe it’ll reel back in but now having my doubts.

Please sweet baby snow Jesus give us some love here in Richmond. edit: apparently you can only comment once in awhile now? Those on the main thread have so much hate for Central VA for no reason. No wonder we made our own thread.

    The clocks have moved forward. Nearly 80 on Friday. I'll get everyone a shot at the local Applebees if it snows.

    Man I must be the youngest person here. (I'm 29). I hope I see the day I can retire. I do actually really enjoy this rain. If it's not snowing I LOVE rainy days. The sun is very sensitive on my eyes so this is welcomed with arms wide open.
