  1. What a jerk lol. How not to develop employee loyalty. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. A clean foot on the ground with the top 6” penetrated by sleet. Must have had 14” before the sleet onset? Back to light snow here. Hoping to get back to 14”. .
  3. 8" on the board, 9" measured on the ground in the grass.
  4. Trying to figure out if and when sleet makes it to Albany. Corr Coeff looks like mix line is between Poughkeepsie and Kingston and very slowly heading north. HRRR is slightly colder each run. Any thoughts? Definitely over performing here so far.
  5. Just went for a slow walk with my thrown out back. Painful but worth it...gorgeous out there. Dumping here. Great snow growth. 7-8" OTG. Still 8F. Hoping sleet stays south.
  6. Thanks. I hope so! I’ll be happy if I can walk behind my new snowblower tomorrow. .
  7. 8F / 5f. Dumping here now. Up to 4" Probably close to 2"/hr stuff right now. Was supposed to ski Gore tomorrow but threw the old back out this morning putting my socks on. Will probably be up all night in pain LOL but at least I'll get to watch the storm.
  8. Up to an inch after 5 hours lol. 9.9F/6F. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. 11/7 here. Powdered sugar for 3 hours. Looks like .33" of snow or so. Winds are calm.
  10. 12F/8F with steady light snow here. Snow looks much heavier than radar indicates. Closing in on 1/4”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. 19F/9F here. Winds very light out of the north. 0-5mph. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Pico! Cheaper, great mountain, family friendly, closer!
  13. I think you'll be fine at Killington, but I guess there's a chance. I'm probably changing my Bromley plans to Gore. Will decide in the morning based on nowcasting.
  14. I have learned to always keep it an option in the back of my mind. Seems like if the warm wedge has a chance of trending north, it almost always does.
  15. Still not sure if pingers make it up to Albany. Mid level warmth advance is always a beeyotch. .
  16. Ran the 18Z NAM from by basement. Albany Weenies approve. .
  17. I always thought that the NAM is usually the model that sniffs out the mid level warmth that often results in pingers making it farther north. And now it keeps trending south as several of the other models bring the warmth further north. I know it’s usually good at recognizing low level cold being a meso and all. Interesting last hour model battle. .
  18. They're K2 Shredinators...112mm underfoot. People say they work pretty well as an all mountain ski. Not super fat.
  19. I struggled at Big Sky last year in 2ft of pow. Decided to get a pair of used ones. Gonna bring them to Bachelor and Timberline in Feb. .
  20. Made a snow gun with my meteorology class. So much fun. Kids designed it, wrote a grant proposal, secured funding and built it with my guidance. Cranked out 17” in 4 hours! Gonna run it all day tomorrow right outside my classroom window. .
  21. Like the good old days.....when both Boston and Albany could cash in with a storm. .
  22. Gonna try to ski Sunday. Powda day. Try out my new fatties. My crazy friend wants to drive Sunday morning. He has a big 4WD. Hope I don’t die trying to get there lol. .
  23. Looks like more northern / southern stream separation like the Euro had at 12Z. .
  24. True, true, true. Which is why the every hour model runs of the future will probably lower the life expectancy of a weather weenie by 5-10 years LOL.
