  1. Is it too early or is there sparse color showing in the foliage? 40's are chilly...shoot were going to be in the upper 60' s for highs tomorrow in most places with lows in the upper 40's to low 50's...i can only imagine some 30's on the higher peaks??? Beautiful pics as well BW!
  2. The rest of the month looks just perfect...few 80 degree days but the real heat looks to be over...at least sustained heat.
  3. Those pics are amazing! Now of you look halfway out over the lake we might get a second crack at this...
  4. I put as much stock in those outlooks as I do in Enron
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if colors start peering over the high peaks in the next 2 week's in the Adirondacks. All next week at lower elevations is low to mid 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's...is this summer's last gasp of sustained heat?
  6. Should finish above normal for the month and maybe by quite a bit as well. Next ten days look to be about 5 degrees above average for daytime highs, and lows look warm too.
  7. Can We really have that persistent of a pattern? I mean what would be the drivers of such an extended look? Asking for a friend...
  8. Looks to be a nice cluster of storms developing just off shore from the lake and heading NE towards the central Erie co shore in the next few hours.
  9. It's the last day if July, nowhere near peak hurricane season and I think this is the 8th or 9th named storm with this being the 4th (potentially) to hit the states? It's 2020 so I'm guessing we should be on the verge of the all time strongest hurricane on record to hit the US??? Man I'm almost afraid to ask what else....i won't finish it...
  10. We might get a first glimpse next week as highs are mid 70's and lows in the low 60's...might spawn thunderstorm or two at night
  11. After the report yesterday of the switch to drug ingredients I'm not surprised.
  12. Yeah those were far and few between. Hopefully this upcoming season will be better...i guess it couldn't be any worse...oh wait it is 2020...nevermind...
  13. That looks like a lake effect band in January...
  14. Isn't there snow 12 months of the year on Mt. Washington? I would gather that would be an extreme climb
  15. Yeah it looked like the radar was lit up quite well just south of the city this morning...the good news with all the heat is we quickly received enough rain to get out of the dry conditions we were in.
  16. BW what's your rain total this morning? Looks like a soaking.
  17. Went back in '13 and the day we went it was 86 at the summit and 59 at the peak...so strange
  18. After a 3 week stretch of pretty unbearable weather, it appears as we get to the end of the month and beginning of August the temps look to be much more seasonable in the low 80's with some 70's from time to time.
  19. The SW off lake Erie concerns me. It might shred the line apart some and miss the majority of the Niagara frontier
  20. Pouring in Williamsville. I think the setup has been destroyed by all this rain out ahead if the front
  21. I think this current light rain is screwing everything up for later this afternoon. Every time the rain slows or stops it picks right back up again.
  22. Maybe, or it helps to destabilize the atmosphere if this line gets through fast enough and sunshine breaks out...but im with you i think this will dampen the opportunity.
  23. Looks like all of Erie County about to get round one...just heard a good boom of thunder...
