  1. Upton: "Thus there is a concern as these environmental parameters max out late in the night and into early Saturday morning that a fine line of convection develops as the front and max forcing coincides with the anomalous moisture rich environment. The potential is there for lower top convection with a struggle to get higher instability this time of year, with the low top convection possibly triggering a very short round of severe weather. There is some backing of the lowest wind in the column. Thus, a spin up with higher speed shear and some directional shear in the lowest 2 km, and especially 1 km remains a concern for some short lived, but intense convection approaching Saturday morning. With more of an isothermal profile in the column, the concern is that with the front approaching mixing extends lower down in the column resulting in strong to damaging wind gusts along the boundary."
  2. Beautiful. I can see EWR hitting 75 tomorrow; granted we get breaks of sun, which I think we will.
  3. Extremely powerful hurricane, y'all!
  4. Nice hodo. Gonna have to watch the tor potential
  5. Western track would also give us the threat of tornadoes
  6. At least it won't be isaias bad if a western track verifies. I don't think?
  7. I love it too and so happy it's on a weekend. We bar crawl
  8. Omg I don't want this warm weather to end lol. I still see people wearing layered hoodies/jackets
  9. Yeah. We're getting a snowstorm in December. How big who knows but Im all in on a dec snowstorm. Dec 5th? only the OGs know about the luck of dec 5th.
  10. That'd be awesome. I don't care for Nick's and dimes. Big dogs or torch. And I defitnitly don't care for record cold

  15. Yeah if we go by patterns , we're gonna be warm as ****.by Christmas unfortunately, I also see us reaching 80+ in November Fiona came one month earlier then we needed it too. Idk **** though , it'd be awesome if we can keep this going through January
  16. We would've seen backend snow me thinks if this were one month later..maybe even a few weeks
  17. The meltdowns if this were winter
  18. Man.. 49f and windy as hell with a good ol'fasioned nor'easter on October 2nd It's. Been. So. Long.
  19. I never liked October nor'easters/cool shots in terms of what winter could bring... To me this indicates we're about to have a warm *** nov-december before we get whopped by a huge storm. Big storm front end of winter followed by mush is what I'm thinking But I'll tell you what..forget what Forky is saying , This really is the "seasons of yesteryear" and I think @Volcanic Wintergot it right...that water vapor injection into the stratosphere is playing a major role
  20. It does, and feels very different. Not really "yesteryear" but damn close. Boring summer with a gradual decline towards cool. Big oct noreaster? We'll see
  21. I'd steal your girl tho and I'm broke as ****
  22. Think these storms are a result from the outflow from the southern storms earlier
