Same thing as previous deals. Everyone gets worried about the morning rain, too many clouds, then a round goes through mid-day/early afternoon, sun comes out and sets things up for the 5-8pm window.
Hopefully not much worse. Thing came in with wind like I've never seen before and I have tree branches and limbs to clean up. Tossed a 200+lbs grill over. Three straight afternoons/nights of thunderstorms.
85* with a DP of 75. Doesn't matter since the 10-15mph wind really takes the edge off. Anecdotally, when we have had DPs this high with a stiff SW wind we have gotten some amazing thunderstorms.
Early season was pretty incredible last year. Friend's and I skinned Magic on November 21st after about 14". Since my wife and I are expecting this month and will have less time for skiing I'm sure it will be a historically snowy winter. Heck, there are trees in the Holyoke Range already changing color. You're all welcome.
Smoked in Belchertown. Good amount of large trees down, roads closed for trees and water, and even noticed a couple speed limit and roads signs blown over.
