Well, I’m going even bolder, and calling that we get nothing frozen.
(In hopes that I’m wrong, but you know where we live so…)
Haha. Given where we lives that’s why I was serious but not serious. Hope we’re both wrong

There is a STRONG signal on all the 12z global for a big Miiler A type storm next weekend. Precipitation type unknown yet. Some show over a foot of snow, others snow rain.
Yes, strong signal for a storm. Way too early to nail out details. I’m going to call it early though, rain to snow

short range models slowly ticking snow line west. wouldn’t be surprised if RVA ended up between 2 to 3 inches
Also how bout that GFS “digital” storm next Sunday, lol….
We’ll see. I'll gladly take more.
And yes I saw. Another 10 day cyclone. Love digital snow. Has 2 feet in GA

Models seem to be in agreement of around inch in RIC. 2-5 in HR, maybe 6 in VA Beach, Portsmouth, Chesapeake

radar looks a little more wet than models show. extends a little bit more north as well. (gulf)

Agree. I can see us squeezing out an inch or so. Temps will not be an issue.

GFS was slightly more NW. Again, not enough to make a difference

-
RGEM was the first to show an ice storm in NC so maybe it carries some weight

NAM went NW slightly. Not enough to really make a difference but baby steps I guess

NAM looks like it’s going to be better. We’ll see

How models looking for 18z? NW trend continuing?
RGEM and HRDPS give RIC an inch or so. Read that the SREF is good but don’t have access to it. GFS, NAM and Euro are still a no

Was pretty to look at. Again, another event that would’ve been decent if we had cold air throughout. Now let’s see if we can get Saturdays just a little more NW. Probably won’t happen but im hoping

Looking good outside now. Wish it was like this earlier

Grassy areas starting to cave

Rates picking up again but unfortunately the flakes are so small it’s like flying pixie dust

Yup. Pretty good snow tv. Not going to get 2-3” at these rates. Inch or less.

I know people down there always feel like they are left out but they’ve done pretty well down there past 10 years. VA Beach might catch up to us or even pass us on the season with this one storm
