Yes for this solution but the rest had a low same time period just off the coast. And yes it’s still a low chance but compared to 3 days ago I’d say at least a MECS has gone from 1/20 chance to a 1/10 chance no?
Yes there is a strong signal for a storm but I believe GFS is on its own with this monster of a solution.

But we said this 3 days ago lol. Not saying it will be this strong, but keeps showing up in some form or fashion.
I believe it’s also the only one showing it

Happy hour GFS delivers again. Monster storm. 2 feet+. Won’t happen but fun to look at

Now the GFS is showing a southern slider next weekend with NC and SE VA getting the most snow again haha

Hopefully the next one is ours. Tired of missing to the north or to the south east

With a nice band of snow still to my west i think i will end up around 4.5. Very nice indeed. It was awesome to have a storm where i never had to worry about a changeover to sleet or rain. Areas south of me probly 6+ inches.
Location?

Virga fest right now
Sadly we got the precip field to expand west but now we were battling dry air. Always something here

Not sure if it means anything but radar is filling in

No idea if it’s going to mean anything but radar is filling in back to the west

Approaching half inch already in Norfolk

I'm not confident about tonight/tomorrow morning, we are grasping at straws. This is painfully frustrating. We've been tracking almost nonstop since around 12/30 and this pattern just hasn't produced. The immediate DC area is the biggest winner on the entire east coast. I hope we eventually cash in.
Definitely don’t think this a game changer but it is interesting to see it play out. Still think we get about an inch. It is Richmond we’re talking about haha

Allot of radar Hallucinations will be going on with this one ..
the air is pretty dry so even if radar is showing it, may have to worry about that

I don't think that's going to amount to anything but interesting to see if it backfills more or not...
Some returns down south look to be father west the forecast
Yup. It may not mean anything here but something to watch on radar
-
FWIW, if anything, neither the NAM or HRRR had precip in ATL and there are reports of snow there

And just like that, GFS takes away our two feet of digital snow. Darn!
