If you truly have to leave on Sunday dont do it. I was there for a storm a couple of years ago that was a little over a foot and was stuck there for 4 days. When I finally left the back roads still had not been touched. I was able to leave by driving through tire tracks people with 4x4's had made. So to answer your question. I would not chase on the island itself. But Salisbury might be a good spot.
thanks for that.

Hey y’all, I’m thinking of heading to OC for this storm. Has anyone ever been down there for a snowstorm? I’m hoping to be able to leave on Sunday. Are they capable of having the roads clear enough by then to be able to make it back safely?

about 4-6 for DC. South and east does better. Tidwater, outer banks wrecked tho. The bad trend continues.
North Baltimore gets something, right ?

The NAM was also pretty good with the transition time and totals

Don't worry guys! The NOAA will let some birthday balloons go off in Montana tomorrow to feed some extra data into the GFS that'll bring a hefty dusting before turning into a monsoon!
This was your best post

I’m curious, have we ever NOT changed to rain or sleet when the low track is directly over us like that from a coastal?

All hail king GFS

We’re gonna get lucky, I feel it. If we can keep this band over us all day it’ll be money
